Ragdoll Cats

Ragdoll is one of the calmest and most affectionate cat breeds, known for its "ragdoll" temperament – when lifted, it often completely relaxes its muscles. Ragdolls are extremely friendly, social, and loving. They adore human company and often follow their owner around the home. They are calm but enjoy playing. Unlike other breeds, they are not very active or dominant. They get along well with children and other pets.

RAG a

Indicates a specific color variant – blue. This means the darker parts of the fur have a soft bluish-gray tone.

Colorpoint (RAG a)

Colorpoints must have matching legs, ears, tail, and mask. The nose and paw pads are dark, while the chest, belly, and ruff are of a lighter shade. There must be no white color anywhere.

Mitted (RAG a 04)

Mitted is similar to colorpoint, but with white "mittens" on the paws (without dark spots). A white stripe runs from the tail to the chin, and paw pads are pink.

Bicolor (RAG a 03)

Bicolor Ragdolls have a darker back, ears, tail, and mask. There should be a white inverted V-shaped mark on the nose.

Appearance

The coat is semi-long, silky, and low-maintenance due to the lack of a thick undercoat. The body is cream or white, while the points are bluish-gray. The eyes are an intense blue, typical for Ragdolls.

We are registered breeders with pedigree (PP)

At our cattery, we are committed to responsible breeding of pedigree cats according to international standards. Our goal is to raise healthy, social, and purebred cats that will bring joy to their new owners.

Why choose a kitten with a pedigree?

A pedigree (PP) guarantees that the cat comes from a healthy and responsible breeding line. All of our kittens are registered with respected breeding organizations, in our case FIFé (Fédération Internationale Féline).

Why is it important not to take a kitten too early?

  • Socialization – The kitten learns behavior from its mother and siblings – early separation can lead to behavioral issues.
  • Immunity – During nursing, the kitten receives important antibodies – early weaning weakens the immune system.
  • Hygiene habits – Kittens learn to use the litter box and groom themselves at this stage.
  • Mental wellbeing – Early separation from the mother causes stress and insecurity.
  • Nutrition – The kitten might not yet be ready for solid food – it can cause digestive problems.

The recommended age for picking up a kitten with pedigree is at least 13 weeks. At this age, the kitten is fully socialized, vaccinated, and healthy.

Our Breeding Policy

  • Our cats are regularly checked by a vet and have been tested for genetic diseases.
  • Each kitten leaves for its new home fully socialized, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.
  • We follow ethical breeding standards and never give kittens away before 13 weeks of age.
  • Every new owner receives a purchase contract, pedigree certificate, and advice on upbringing and care.

Welcome to the website of our small Ragdoll cat cattery. Cats have been full members of our household since 2001. In 2018, we had to say goodbye to both of our beloved cats (EC Baltimoor Teddy Star *CZ, 17 years) and (EC Honey Girl Bazan *UA, 16 years), but a home without them felt empty. That’s why we decided to welcome Beludru Raven Reyes *NL and Genry Valley Tuberose *RU into our lives and revive our cattery.

The Ragdoll breed
is classified as a medium-large breed with semi-long hair. The longest fur grows around the neck, while the shortest is on the head. Their coat is dense, silky soft, and resistant to matting. Ragdoll kittens are usually born pure white, but within a few weeks, they start to develop color. The full coloration and body development are completed around the age of 4 years. These are strong, muscular cats with a fluffy coat and a robust appearance. Females weigh around 4–7 kg, while males can weigh 7–10 kg, and their body length can reach up to one meter. Their eyes are deep blue. Ragdoll cats are extremely friendly, seek contact, and are very affectionate. They enjoy cuddling, are playful, social, curious, and get along well with other cats.
